After washing Sanekallu rub first Haldi beru and then with burnt Banana leaves to prepare Akshate After abhisheka, we must apply gandha to Saligramas and Devara Vigrahagalu by Tulasi kashta. Then take burning coal and sprinkle Dashanga – (fine dust of sandal wood) and do mangalarathi – This is angara We must show only Akshate to Saligramas and must not apply to Saligramas or Vigrahas as we do Gandhalepana. After devapooja you can apply Gandha, Akshate to Lakshmi, Pranadevaru, Garuda, Shesha and other Yatigala brindavanas.
